COVID-19 Update
COVID-19 FLIGHT OPERATIONS
UPDATE: 15 October 2022
Glacier Air continues to monitor COVID-19 public health restrictions and modify operations as appropriate. We are pleased to see the Federal and Provincial Governments have lifted most restrictions, however we must continue to be vigilant to reduce the continued spread of this virus. Glacier Air will continue to check everyone entering our facilities for any signs or symptoms of illness, encourage the wearing of non-surgical mask and ask that everyone reframe from flying activities if feeling ill.
Glacier Air will continues to monitor and reassess the COVID-19 situation in order to keep the health and safety of our clients and staff our number one priority. All Glacier Air facilities will continue to be cleaned and disinfected routinely and all Aircraft will continue to be cleaned and disinfected between each flight.
We thank you for your cooperation and hope everyone is continuing to stay safe and healthy.
Flight training for registered Students
Due to high demand for flight training from local residence, we are not accepting transfer students from other flight schools. Students who live in the Sea to Sky corridor and/or who have participated in our ground school classes are able to book lessons. Glacier Air will continue to check everyone entering our facilities for any signs or symptoms of illness, encourage the wearing of non-surgical mask and ask that everyone reframe from flying activities if feeling ill.
Eligible students who need to write practice exams, PSTAR, Radio, or the TC PPL final exam, can schedule a time/date with Colette.
New flight training registrations
Unfortunately, we are NOT offering introductory or discovery flights at this time.
Glacier Air has a wait list for new students and we currently anticipate a 9-12 month wait for new student starts with priority given to those who currently live in the Sea to Sky region. To add your name to the wait list please CALL 604-898-9016 to add your name to the list. The wait list is updated every 4-6 weeks and those who do not respond to our status update request will be removed from the list.
THANK YOU!
The entire Glacier Air team thanks you for your continued cooperation and commitment to the health and safety of our community. If you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to contact us.
